What We Do
Decommissioning and Recycling
of retired Submarine Cables
Since 2014, Subsea Environmental Services has been recovering out-of-service (OOS), submarine telecommunication cables from the seabed and recycling their components. Subsea continues to acquire its cable portfolio from all major legacy telcos and consortiums. Our cable portfolio is currently in excess of 300,000 kms, making Subsea one of the largest owners of OOS submarine cable systems in the world.
Our Mission
Benefiting all Stakeholders
while Adhering to Industry Best Practice
We are dedicated to responsibly harnessing the untapped potential of out-of-service (OOS) cables by reintroducing the recycled material back into the global supply chain. Recycling these cables is both a viable and efficient means to source raw materials while simultaneously demonstrating marine environmental stewardship.
