About Us
Developing sustainable business practices while actively restoring the marine environment to its natural state.
Founded in 2014, Subsea Environmental Services specializes in the responsible recovery and recycling of out-of-service (OOS) submarine telecommunications cables. As a privately-owned company, we are dedicated to marine environmental services, focusing on restoring marine environments to their natural state while promoting sustainable practices. Our services include deep-water cable recovery, shore-end removal, depot clearance, and logistics management.
Our Mission
We believe converting out-of-service submarine telecommunications cables into high-quality recycled materials is both a viable commercial proposition and an environmental imperative. Our mission is to responsibly and economically recover redundant cable systems from the seabed and reintroduce their constituent materials back into the global value chain.
Our Executive Team
With over 100 years experience in the marine industry, the Subsea team is able to leverage its knowledge and relationships in all areas of the business and operations. From our headquarters in New York City and through our global network of agents and partners, our team employs the combined expertise and knowledge base of the best people, processes, and practices.
